Originally from Ciudad Mante, Tamaulipas, she began her professional studies in 2005 at Facultad de Música of Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, joining the symphony orchestra of the same institution as a flutist two years later.
During her final undergraduate year, she received a mobility scholarship to further her studies in orchestral conducting at Eastern Washington University, under the guidance of Maestro Julián Gómez Giraldo. In 2015, she was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where she studied with Maestros Leoš Svárovsky and Tomáš Koutník, being the only Mexican in that institution. A year later, she served as assistant conductor of the Symphony Orchestra at the University of Northern Colorado, where she pursued her master’s degree under Maestro Russell Guyver. She was recognized as an outstanding student of the Department of Orchestral and Choral Conducting.
During her stay in the United States, she conducted the university symphony orchestra for three years, was a guest conductor at the Open Space Festival of New Music and premiered the opera The Taming by Elwood. She has received dedications of works such as Podium and Nox by composer Charly Daniels.
In 2019, she was selected for the Cátedra en Dirección de Orquesta Eduardo Mata (UNAM), making her debut with Orquesta Juvenil Eduardo Mata at Sala Nezahualcóyotl.
Between 2021 and 2024, she was invited to conduct major orchestras in the country, such as Orquesta Filarmónica de Xalapa, Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco, Orquesta Filarmónica del Desierto, Orquesta Sinfónica de Chiapas, and Orquesta Sinfónica de Tabasco, among others. In 2024, she debuted with Orquesta Filarmónica de la UNAM, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato, and Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México. In 2025, she will debut with Orquesta Filarmónica de la Ciudad de México, Orquesta Sinfónica de Campeche, and Filarmónica Mexiquense.
She is currently the principal conductor of Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (OSUAT) and conductor of Orquesta Juvenil de la Facultad de Música y Artes.
