Italian violinist and conductor, distinguished in European classical music. Since 2022, he has been principal guest conductor of Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg, artistic director of La Scintilla Orchestra in Zurich, and music director of Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa. Co-founder of Il Pomo d’Oro, he was also principal conductor of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg. 

In the 2024-25 season, he will debut with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as return to the Staatskapelle Dresden and participate in the Glyndebourne Opera Festival and Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. Minasi has worked with world-renowned orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and collaborated with artists like Diana Damrau and Joyce DiDonato. His discography has received awards including the Diapason d’Or. 

Renowned for his musicological integrity, he has advised the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and edited critical editions such as Bellini’s Norma. As a soloist and concertmaster, he has performed with prestigious orchestras and international musicians. His operatic productions include Die Zauberflöte, Idomeneo, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte (Mozart), Rodelinda, Alcina and Agrippina (Handel), Beatrice di Tenda (Bellini), Les pêcheurs de perles and Carmen (Bizet), and Orlando paladino (Haydn). These works have been presented at Dutch National Opera, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Teatro Carlo Felice, Salzburger Festspiele, Opernhaus Zürich, Hamburg State Opera, and Opéra National de Lyon.
