World-renowned Canadian violinist, recognized for his virtuosity and musicality. He began playing the violin at age five and quickly stood out for his exceptional talent.

He has performed with orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw and the London Philharmonic. In the 24/25 season, he will be Artist in Residence with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and embark on an Asia tour. Ehnes also performs recitals in prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall. He leads the Ehnes Quartet and the Seattle Chamber Music Society. 

With an extensive discography, he has received numerous awards, including two Grammys and three Gramophone Awards. In 2021, he was named Artist of the Year at the Gramophone Awards. During the pandemic, he launched the Recitals from Home series, praised for its quality.
