He joined Caña Dulce y Caña Brava in 2023 as a guest musician. He has been an active part of Mexican musical tradition since 1996, when he founded Chéjere, a renowned band that blends tradition with innovation and has appeared at national and international festivals. With training in classical guitar, he has been a member of Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA) since 2019, and in 2015 he received the Ibermúsicas Song Composition prize.
