Originally from Mexico City, Nohemí is an actress and director specialising in comedy and clown. Together with Jesús “Chucho” Díaz, she is the founder of La Sensacional Orquesta Lavadero. In 2016, she created and coordinated Laboratorio de clown femenino within Programa Internacional de Artes del Circo y de la Calle at CENART, a project that gave rise to the group De-lirios.

In 2022, she received the Premio Metropolitano de Teatro for Best Leading Actress for her role in Pedro Melenas y otras historias para desobedientes. Between 2019 and 2023, she received various nominations for Best Leading and Supporting Actress from the ACTP Awards and the Premios Metropolitanos. 

 

She has performed as an actress in productions such as Café ConSer, Agraciadas damitas, Le Journal, La Hora Radio Roma, La Hora Radio Roma 2, El bien del país and Guerra, among others.

As a stage director, her notable works include Zanahorias by Antonio Zancada (2025), Ui did it by Bertolt Brecht (2023), winner of the 30th FITU at UNAM; Varieté de Lirios, nominated for Best Cabaret Show by ACPT (2022); Fanfarrias en el aire with Grupo Ilaí from Mérida (2020); and Murmullos with the company Seña y Verbo (2019).
