A graduate of the Conservatorio Nacional and the Conservatorio Joaquín Rodrigo in Valencia. He was part of the first generation of the Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes. He has performed roles such as Scarpia in Tosca by Puccini; Amonasro in Aida by Giuseppe Verdi; Ríolobo in Florencia en el Amazonas by Daniel Catán; and Klingsor in Parsifal by Richard Wagner.
His career has taken him to important international stages, including the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico), the Palau de les Arts (Spain), and the Teatro Amazonas (Brazil). He participated in the Mexican premiere of The Rape of Lucretia by Benjamin Britten; Die Frau ohne Schatten by Richard Strauss; and Parsifal by Richard Wagner.
Among his recent engagements are Berlioz’s dramatic symphony Roméo et Juliette, Mefistofele in Faust, and Monterone in Rigoletto.
