He graduated from the Conservatorio Nacional de Música under the tutelage of Enrique Jaso. His career highlights include the roles of Leporello and Masetto in Don Giovanni; Bartolo and Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia; and Schaunard and Colline in La bohème. His repertoire includes Mozart’s Requiem and Missa Solemnis; the St John Passion; the Requiems by Fauré and Brahms; Rossini’s Stabat Mater; Handel’s Messiah; and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
He has sung with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional, the Orquesta del Estado de México, the Orquesta de Yucatán, the Orquesta de Xalapa, and the Camerata de Coahuila. He was part of the Ensamble Escénico Vocal of the SNFM. He was a finalist in the Sinaloa and Carlo Morelli competitions and obtained second place in the Concurso Internacional de Ópera Durango.
He was a beneficiary of the Estudio de Ópera de Bellas Artes and is currently a member of the Coro del Teatro de Bellas Artes.
