A graduate of the Bachelor’s degree in Music from Universidad de Guanajuato, he has received scholarships from Instituto Cultural de León, the Jóvenes Creadores programme, and the former Instituto Estatal de la Cultura de Guanajuato, within the Jóvenes Ejecutantes programme. Additionally, he took part in the Centro Occidente Tour in 2011.

As a performing musician and conductor, he has participated in various festivals and collaborated with both national and international artists, including Horacio Franco, Markus Stockhausen, Goran Bregović, and Patricio Hidalgo.

From 2019 to 2021, he was the conductor and instructor of Orquesta Sinfónica Estudiantil Pinto Reyes (OSPIR) and Banda Sinfónica Estudiantil Pedro Jiménez, both ensembles of Instituto Cultural de León. He currently serves as coordinator of Programa Estatal de Formación Musical Vientos Musicales para la Gente, under Secretaría de Cultura.
