Considered by national critics as one of the most virtuosic violinists within the son huasteco tradicional tradition, his classical training has led him to perform as a soloist with several orchestras in Mexico. He was a fellow of Carnegie Hall’s programme “The Academy” in New York City and currently performs with leading orchestras in Mexico City, as well as various chamber music ensembles.
