Originally from South Uist in the Scottish Hebrides, Kathleen grew up immersed in the Gaelic language and music, attending ceilidhs (traditional musical gatherings) and learning from local tradition bearers.

She has an extensive resume of appearances in film and television, including Machair, Outlaw King, and Robert the Bruce. She has also contributed to numerous film soundtracks, such as Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood and The Bard’s Tale IV.
