Founded in 2014, it was the first community semillero of its kind in Veracruz. Based in Zozocolco de Hidalgo, it has trained nearly 400 children and young people in violin, jarana huasteca, quinta huapanguera, and other expressions of son huasteco.

The semillero has also transformed local cultural life by revaluing music, the Totonac language, and traditional dress, thus strengthening the region’s cultural heritage.
