Her work focuses on spatial conceptualisation and light creation, with a particular interest in exploring bodies that contain choreographic knowledge. 

She is co-creator and co-director of Poética sobre la escucha, Cuerpo no cuerpo, Anónima (finalist for the Premio Nacional de Danza Guillermo Arriaga), and Disposición del ser, under the name EO Project. As a performer, she has taken part in LEIB: ¿qué desea un cuerpo?, LEIB: ¿qué resiste un cuerpo?, La materia del tiempo, Osea, and El cuerpo vacío. 

Her lighting designs have received four LIT Lighting Design Awards (Switzerland): in 2024 for Cuerpo no cuerpo and LEIB: ¿qué resiste un cuerpo?; in 2022 in the Theatre Performance Design category for Roadtrip; and in 2021 in the Stage Lighting category for Disolver. She also received a Global Architecture Design Award in the Light Art category in 2024. In 2020, she published the book Iluminando espacios and earned an Honourable Mention at the LIT Lighting Design Awards for her work on Pic-Nic at New Bond

In Mexico, she has won the award for Best Lighting Design from the Premio Nacional de Danza de Creación Coreográfica Contemporánea three times: in 2019, 2011, and 2008. She is currently a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA) 2023–2026 and collaborates with artists and collectives who share her interests in artistic thought.
