Tania Libertad

Tania Libertad was born in Peru and began her artistic career recording her first album at the age of 9. In 1980 she moved to Mexico, from where she built the platform for her global success. Her discography includes 35 albums, which have earned her multiple gold and platinum records. She has performed on the most important stages in countries such as the United States, France, Australia, Peru and Mexico. Among her many awards are a Latin Grammy for Excellence and Musical Trajectory, her nomination as "U.N.E.S.C.O. Artist for Peace" and decorations from the governments of Peru and Brazil.
