Born in Taichung, Taiwan, Hsu studied dance at the National University of the Arts in Taipei. She has appeared in Gala by Jérôme Bel and has collaborated with choreographers Simone Wierød and Tim Panduro. In 2017, she worked with Needcompany at the Taipei Arts Festival. She is currently based in London and joined Company Wayne McGregor in 2023.
