Ensamble de Arpas Andrés Huesca
With a monumental sonic display, this performance pays tribute to the legacy of the great Andrés Huesca, an iconic figure in son jarocho and the Veracruz harp. Through an ensemble of outstanding performers, it celebrates the melodic and harmonic richness of the harp—an instrument that has conquered genres and geographies, and which shines with special intensity in Mexico thanks to its astonishing diversity, with thirty-two different types across the country. The focus is on the arpa jarocha, the sonic symbol of Veracruz, whose strings evoke the tradition, identity, and passion of its people.
