Dicroico is a project that blends electroacoustic music with acoustic instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, and voice, alongside real-time audio processing technology. The concert features six original pieces collectively created by the ensemble. Inspired by dichroic materials that change colour depending on the lighting, the project proposes a metaphor where sound is light, and the listener is the filter that shapes it.
The project invites the audience to experience a unique sensory journey through soundscapes that transform with each listen. Influenced by Julián Carrillo’s “sonido 13”, the programme seeks not to divide sound, but to expand it through electroacoustic technologies and tools, exploring new dimensions of auditory and visual perception. The result is an immersive experience that blurs the boundaries between the sonic, the visual, and the emotional.
