Granhøj Dans

An Eve and an Adam

* Programme subject to change

A choreographic duet created by Palle Granhøj in close collaboration with performers Sofia Pintzou and Mikolaj Karczewski.

This performance presents the dancers completely naked on stage as a direct provocation to question contemporary modesty. Through the exposure of the live body, it confronts the apparent contradiction between the discomfort caused by physical nudity in everyday contexts —such as school or gym showers— and the ease with which the body is displayed on social media, where body images are shared and consumed massively, often without restraint.

In a culture saturated by sexual representations and where pornography circulates without filters, this stage work offers a reflection on honest nudity, without artifices or digital filters. Faced with the paradox of a society that claims to be liberated yet still feels shame about the real body, the performance invites us to rethink the ways we see, show and understand the human body beyond the logic of consumption and appearance.
